Take Science Outdoors this Summer
Summer is the perfect time to extend classroom learning into the field and bring science concepts and principles to life. Applying concepts explored in the classroom to a real-world setting is effective for academic achievement, but it’s also important for students’ personal well-being.
While validating classroom learning among the schoolyard trees and shrubs, down in the weeds on the asphalt, and in the sky overhead, students develop a relationship with nature. This relationship with natural systems allows us to care deeply for these systems.
So pack up your explorer’s kit, throw open the door and join us! We’re taking FOSS outdoors this summer.
